This handcrafted altar cover, made of felted wool, is designed to protect the altar linens when the altar is not in use, and indicates that the sanctuary is at rest. 

The felt is blend of wool and rayon which gives a lovely drape. Rayon filament thread is used to stich the designs. Because each altar cover is custom-made to order it can take up to three weeks for your order to ship and it may not be returned or refunded.

French Style
The drape is nine to ten inches on three sides - the front and sides. The lettering can be any phrase appropriate for the sanctuary up to 35 characters long.

The scallopped edge and font for the lettering will be as shown in the pictures. Other styles may be available for an additional charge.

Italian Style
The Italian style vesperale is made to fit the mensa with no drape. It still protects the top of the altar and linen without covering any part of the frontal or lace that may drape from the altar linen. The embroidery design will be as shown. Other designs may be available for an additional charge.
